    Default AC Custom Build

Sorry for slow reply Hermit, Top carved top Tasmanian burl type blackwood old growth wood from the stump, the back of the guitar also burl blackwood, centre core a slice of Huon pine from a sterio cabinet that I built back in 1970 and after close to 40 years of moves, Bells removals managed to deliver it in a house move in many pieces, no worrys from a sterio to an electric guitar, it's still playing music. Neck highly figured Tasmanian blackwood strips of Huon pine myrtle and celery top pine, headstock high figured blackwood, fret board She oak all 100% Tasmanian tonewoods.
    Cheers Bob

Thanks Bob. Nice selection of timbers (and a very nice guitar). I'd guessed Blackwood. (I'm not often right though.)

    Default AC Custom Build

Thanks Hermit, The second AC custom build is now in the planning stages next one will be a left handed one, being left handed I thought that would be a good idea. as the last one was a right handed one but that was planned as I will learn how to play slide. will post photos soon on woods to be used in the build.

Very nice guitar! I really like Alan Cringean's designs. My next bass will be based on his designs.
