Hey man, your piece looks great!

I must say I don't know much welding myself, I always did woodworking and it was only a few years ago when I started messing around w metal.

I got my welding machine online, this page works for me, maybe you wanna check it out... http://www.surplex.com/en/machines/c...ment-8112.html

70mm under gunnell stitch welds done.....thank god for that!!!! What an awkward, neck breaker, gun just fits, close one eye, smell the singed hair job that was.

First pic wont rotate for me, welds are overhead.

Your welder seems to be humming along very nicely.
I notice that you aren't filling your craters at the end of your welds. That can lead to cracking. It would probably pay to pause at the end of your welds and fill your craters, which looks better into the bargain as well.

    Cheers Mick,

One thing I cannot stand is trying to work in a mess of tools and rubbish. It even gets mopped at the end of the day.... she who speaks does not like aluminium filings on her feet whilst doing the washing.

    Thanks karl,

Will go back over and fill the ends. Just poked my head under and had a look, some I did a curl back on but not all.

Do you know of any good reading for the pulse arc process and set up? Its all been trial and error for me so far.

    Cheers Craig.

    Craig,

Looks like you have had a big week-end. The pain from all that should have set in by now. Looks great.

Yeah mate, it will just fit. Console, bow roller will be attached once outside otherwise it wont go. As it is I can spin it 360 degrees and out the door.

Have been wondering where you've been Craig. Fancy work having to take precedents over your boat build. It's looking good.
