    Default Second LP59 Finished

After a year I've finally managed to finish a second LP 59
I'm not a guitarist and so for me the learning curve building these beautiful pieces has been huge. At the same time it's been one of the most rewarding things I've done. To those who offered suggestions and or tips thanks boys it was APPRECIATED big time.
The first one was for my niece who is an outstanding guitarist and the second one for my son. The first one took me about 15 months and the second 12 months.

Sooo much pleasure in doing them. I hope you enjoy the slideshow as much as I did the making.

This link will take you to a slideshow of the second build only if you want to see a little more...... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8syb5gsnr3wbd7x/DUdybVOGLF#/

    Thanks :)

Nice one Kerry. It doesn't have a traditionally shaped carve top. It looks more like an archtop curve.

It looks pretty good Kerry, you gotta be happy with that. Amongst other things there's plenty of work gone into those inlays on the f/b, nice details so hope it plays and sounds well also.

I have all the plans & most of the parts ready to go on an LP59, just need the time.

Top job Kerry, I thoroughly enjoyed your slide show and the song says it all. You're a good man.

Great work Kerry. Thanks for sharing your WIP and the finished product, it looks fantastic. I'm sure your son will enjoy playing his Dad's guitar and you'll get a kick watching him play it.
