Henry Eckert has opened a new woodworking school at 84 Rundle Street Kent Town, an inner suburb of Adelaide. The school has basic woodworking courses, intermediate to experienced courses as well as "Open Workshop Facility' where a woodworker can use the tools and machinery offered to make their own project.

The school is using local and international teachers. Garrett Hack is teaching in November at the school and Adrian Potter starts a course in July. Introduction to Woodworking courses and Tool Sharpening and Tool Set Up courses have already commenced.

Henry Eckert is the importer of Lie-Nielsen Toolworks in Australia as well as other quality tools from France, US & Japan. There is a wide and full range of demonstration tools available to students which compliments the Felder & Hammer woodwork machinery available.
