    Default Passing of Joe Stevens - Gatiep

    It is with sadness that I inform that one of our members - "gatiep" - Joe Stevens passed away this morning. Although not active on the forum lately, Joe contributed 1400 posts mainly in the Turning and CNC sections. An avid woodworker for many years, he taught me much.
    Myself and a few members from Perth on this forum knew him personally.
    Rest in peace my friend.

    I had the privilege of receiving his advice, both by postings and pm's, in my selection of my table saw.

    I never met him but we exchanged several messages in earlier times as we shared a common profession, albeit in 2 different countries.
