    Default Veritas sharpening jig repair?

I somehow lost or broke the E-clips(half moon clips?) that hold the roller to the shaft of the jig.

Tried using Standard sized E-clips from the hardware store, but the ones that fit the grooves on the shaft are too big and drag on the bench stone.

Could not locate the address or web site for the manufacturer using GOOGLE.

Can anyone help a newbie or suggest how to contact the manufacturer for parts?

    Thanks,
    Paco

Try e-mailing Lee Valley Tools. They are usually very helpful.

Default Lee Valley Service is tops

    Rocker,

I followed your advice and sent an e-mail to Lee Valley tools. You were right. They were most helpful, making sure that the part was identified correctly, verifying my address and sending me the clips free of charge, although I'm not even a customer.

I received only one reply to my post and that's all I needed.

    Thanks,
    Paco

If you go to your nearest bearing supplier they will have them for sure.

    Hi Paco
You only got the one reply because the advice you were given couldn't be bettered.

    Rock on Rocker.
