Just a quick update but no photo's.

The rocker assembly only needs one more coat of paint and the final assembly of the car and rocker can take place, weather has turned cold and damp and it seems to have slowed the drying times. Tomorrow will cut out some foam for the seat and get the wife to cover them. Well you don't expect a young lady to sit on hard wood.

    Default The rocker is complete!

The rocker is completely painted now so it is down to the little detail to be fitted and the two parts brought together. So only a few days now before i take some photo's of the complete thing.

That looks fantastic, Derek. A masterpiece.
You'd have to be proud of the way it turned out. It was certainly well worth waiting for.
    Well done.

I've examined it closely and can't spot your mistake. It must be pretty minor.
(For some examples of real mistakes, just wait until I finish my Beetle.)

OH My, I do believe it's a LITTLE PINK CAR and what a beauty it is......
That's one top job Derek looks "SHOP BOUGHT" rather than home made with a lot of TLC....
Have you taken it for a test drive yet......

    Cheers, crowie

You never ever tell what you did wrong vs true craftsman can hide his mistakes

Looks fantastic Derek. Enjoyed your build and the fun you had keeping us in suspense. I see no mistakes and neither will its owner.
