My daughter is working on a final year short film as part of a TV and film production degree. The project is a collaborative exercise among some energetic and capable student actors, editors, script writers, directors and producers. Their set builder has dropped out and so there is the opportunity for someone with carpentry and handyman skills to pick up some cash and have some fun. This is the brief:

*SET BUILDER WANTED*
We are looking for a construction literate type with their own tools and preferably their own space (although we do have a warehouse in Preston we can use if needed) to build an 'observation room' set for a student film being shot in the first week of October.

We have a budget to cover materials and are willing to offer a thousand dollars on completion to someone who can take this on. We have an absolute deadline of September 28th.

This might suit someone retired or working part time who is looking for a side job or just someone who loves building things. As a potential extra we are willing to offer the builder the chance to keep the sets at the end of the shoot and repurpose them if they would like to.

Please email ruthjsayers at gmail dot com as soon as you can to see the set designs and discuss this further.
