Just spent a couple of days in Toowoomba with RufflyRustic (Wendy and hubby Andrew) . Also met up with AndyMac at the Cobb & Co Museum, and KeithG at home amongst his wood stack (yum), great to catch up guys.
Now overnight at a little lagoon near Laidley, so very close to home again , but hopefully not for long before heading north againNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Still at home, staying in my camper in the driveway , doing various repairs (including the timber pergola that was falling down), installing more storage sheds , and offloading timber (house sitters helping as I can't lift much). I am now packing up the trailer again ready to head off in the next day or so for the next stage of the trip (house sitters are booked until Dec). Shoulders are still crap, milling is definitely out as I can't lift much, but can turn smaller things like pens etc.
I'm intend heading up to Proserpine for the big turning weekend in Nov travelling basically via the coast. If anyone wants me to call in please post here and send your contact details via PM. Always after some where to stay over night, I just need some where to park the 10m rig, I have my own bed/toilet/shower etc.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

What the Old farmer said: Thanks for the hospitality on our visit last week and a little more knowledge I can now dazzle folks with. We had a good time.
Oh and thanks for cooling the weather a bit for PamTim. A man of measurable mess.

Lucky you didn't come this week, someone has turned up the heater again, just in time for packing the trailer
Got a tooth playing up again, so off to the dentist, and another possible delay to leavingNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

if its any help for over night stays, I'm 15 km outside Mackay at the back of Walkerston. If I can fit a 20ft tilt tray, 9ton skip truck, and 2 vac trucks, your little van wont take up much room

Headed off yesterday afternoon and spent night at Gawdelpus's place last night. Headed off late this morning and have camped at Elanda Point on Lake Cootharaba just north of Noosa.

Lovely little spot obviously popular with families as packed with campers, plus last weekend of school holidays and a long weekend adds to numbers, lots of kids running around. Nice sandy beach with shallow warm waters ideal for kids and paddle boards/kayaks/canoes etc. No power, but showers/toilets & little shop - not free but very cheap . I'm staying a couple of nights to veg outNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

So when do you hit Dundowran Beach??
That area around Noosa is pretty special.
