    Default New Currach

I sold my Simmons sea skiff and decided that I needed another fishing boat so I have built an Irish Currach. It is a simple build for a very seaworthy boat. I have rowed some a few times in Ireland. Very stable and easy to row. Cost to build this one is under $250. Will let you know how it fishes. A few pics to show the build.

The crew are going to get some interesting patterns imprinted on their bottoms. You could use them as templates for tattoos.

Floating is good. Always a bonus if it floats.

I think it is about 11ft. I will measure it when I get time.
