Default Design Critique Needed- Dobler Nootka Sound

Well, I've been looking for a long time for a boat to build that would suit me. I think I've found it.
I haven't bought the plans yet but it seems to tick all my boxes.
Easy to build (5 panel taped seem), easy to trailer, quick to rig, good camper for me and two small girls, Should row ok, and can take an outboard if I want.
Looks pretty enough. It seems a really well thought out boat. I like the steel offset centreboard (maybe shape it somewhat?) which will give it a bit of stability.
The trailer weight is about 500 lbs. It even has a potty space, which is good for girls. It has an Aluminium mast that is tabernacled. The more I look at it the more I like it. I'm waiting for the book 'Sailing Uphill' by Sam McKinney to arrive to see what else he has to say about it.

I suppose what I'm really wondering is just how well will it sail? Will the 7 panel shape (3 per side and bottom) be too limiting or not matter?

All thoughts welcome, particularly PAR and MIK !!

    Thanks, Brad.

My 2c: the rudder looks like a pain to build and a pain for beaching. Maybe put the rudder on the sternpost and the outboard in a well (with fairing plug).

Heavy centreboards are a bit of a nuisance in shallow water. You could just have internal ballast instead. Should still come back from a knockdown.
You know you're making progress when there's sawdust in your coffee.

The rudder does swing up, but I see your point. Will pony up for the plans and have a look.
    Thanks.
