Waiting for the bike to be finished, hell, waiting for the frame to be painted, is unbearable.
I want to go for a ride.

I was reading about the three young siblings who died in the MH17 plane disaster some months ago. One of them had just been diagnosed dyslexic but had the wonderful ability at age 8 to create things out of unlikely junk......

Thanks Chris that was a very interesting article, although on an extremely sad note.

It's been so hot here over the last couple of days that the gold pinstripe had dried enough late this afternoon.
So I got stuck straight in to the Indian script.
It's had two coats of paint and I'll give it another later night.
After that I'll give it a light sand and fix up any little spots that need attention.
Then I'll mask off the opposite side of the tank and get a clear coat over it before starting on the other side.
The picture on the wall was my son's idea, he thought it would make for a better look.
I have to agree!
Cheers

I've put a coat of clear over the half of the tank with the Indian script on it.
It's coming up nicely hopefully the other side will go as well.
I didn't sand all of the brush marks out of the gold paint.
Although more coats of clear will flatten the appearance of the gold paint.
I've tried to leave it with the hand painted look that suits the period of the bike.
Apart from painting the other side of the tank I'm pretty much at the point where the bike needs to come apart.
So I'll start striping it down tomorrow.
Apart from the obvious job of painting I'll need to get my head around the best way to go about cutting the gearbox down.
Not something I'm looking forward to but it needs to be done.
Cheers

Wow! I go to the Melbourne wood show and look what you get done!
Beautiful work Trev.
And, yes, I would complain about photos of a nude frame. I'm a sensitive guy and the thought of all that nakedness, oh my!!!! (Yeah, right)
In response to your PM, lunchtime at high school is from 1.30-2.15. You sure you wanna turn up to school when the kids are there?

Best you hang onto your hat then mate this may get a little raunchy
As for the school lunch brake, 45 minutes isn't very long.
But I should be able to organise a fully blown student body riot within the time frame.
Or we could just have a quite coffee.
Which ever you think is best on the day!
Cheers mate

I had a trip up Mildura way last week, made sure to call into Trevors and have a look at his handy work. Seeing the Indian sitting there on its stand is a joy to behold, I cannot give enough praise for the detail Trev has put into it. His attention to detail and finish is beyond my comprehension. Trev, many thanks for the couple hours I spent with you. John.

WOW!!! That thing looks ready to take for a test drive.... throw it in a box and send it over to me. I'll give it a testing worthy of its beauty. Don't worry, I'll be gentle...
Seriously Trevor, its totally like awesome dude!He who blesses his neighbor in a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted as cursing!

Hey Johnnie you've got no idea how much I'd love to get the bike to the States one day.
I reckon it would be fantastic to meet up with you sometime. (How knows stranger things have happened)
In the meantime I'm just happy you think the Indian is Way.
Stay Kool, Peace Out & Rock On mate
Trev.
