I striped the bike down last night.
It's a bit odd seeing it all apart again.

I've a big weekend coming up and a few things to do to at organized for it.
So I'll leave starting on the frame until next week.
But I'll work on painting the Indian script on the other side of the tank in the meantime.

    Cheers
    Trev.

My goodness Trev, it's exploded overnight. It's actually nice to be able to see the motor again in clear view to appreciate the incredible detail involved.
That Indian poster is becoming like Crowie's blue smurf (got to be in every photo). You won't be able to leave it out now otherwise people will pick it and you will have to come up with some supa dupa excuse why it's not there.
I hope your weekend goes well.

The poster is a really kool piece of advertising.
I don't think back in the day you could have done much better.

I wonder what Custer would have thought if he saw that coming over the hill.
I'd be getting out of his way!

    Cheers
    Trev.

    Hi Brett,

Fifth period is from 2.15 to 3.15 at our school. Being in the country, with buses going to all four points of the compass, we have to fit in with the primary schools' finishing times.

Have fun with the 5th GTG. Hope you come down to the next Jerilderie Jaunt!!!

Well that's the most nerve-racking part of the build out of the way.
As much as I enjoy signwriting it leaves little room for any hiccup's.
So I'm really pleased to have the script done.

There's a couple of little bits I'd like to improve.
I can do that after the clear dries and before it's next coat.
When I sand the clear coat down I can touch up the area's I wont to before giving it the next coat.

I've got a few thing's to do on the frame before I paint it so I'll work on those.

    Cheers
    Trev.

While waiting for things to dry on the frame (which didn't take long with the heat in town today)
I sanded back the tank and gave it a full clear coat.
The script is looking better already.

I also gave the battery and toolbox's another coat of clear.
Their coming up quite well too.
I haven't had any major problems with the paint so far.
The wheels must be about to full off something?

    Cheers
    Trev.

    Thanks mate.
I reckon one of the most enjoyable things about making stuff like this is that it wasn't
that long ago the raw materials that their made from was unwonted junk at the tip.

    Cheers mate

Your scripting is superb Trev, in line with everything else you are doing on this project. It is looking so real now that the colour is going on.

Come on Trev, It's been 3 days and no progress.... .....

Where have you been, I wonder...

Not off to London to visit the Queen????

Sorry, that's right, you braved the highways and headed north....

No, not Queensland were many older Victorians spend there winter,

BUT to Katoomba to the meet a mob of woodworkers from far and wide.....

All forgiven as it was our pleasure and privilege to meet the "JUNK MASTER" craftsman extraordinaire...

I hope you have, had a safe trip home and got out of Jerilderie without too much fun...

Keep surprizing everyone with your imagination and magic, Trevor...Cheers, Peter
