Thumbs down Attaching Triton Router to an Vermont American Industrial Router Table

How do I attach a Triton 1/2" router to a Vermont American Industrial Router table. Both of these items are still brand new. I would like some advice before I start drilling holes in the metal plate of the router table. The router table is a Table model which is bolted to a wooden bench.

The triton router only requires two holes with slots to fit correctly. You could drill these and then file out the slot. We do that to the sliding chasis which the router attaches to on the WC2000. We use the Triton router table top as an easy template so with out that it would be a bit harder. Check out www.tritonwoodworks.org.au and look at the modifications section to see what I mean. (Mod number 4 shows the holes and slots)
