    Default Wattle Soprano Ukulele

    A tree lopper friend of mine gave me some Wattle ,Leopard tree, Lilly pilly. So I told him I wIMG_0748.jpgIMG_0750.jpgIMG_0752.jpgill make him a ukulele out of it. Back and sides; wattle, soundboard; lillipilly, neck; walnut, fingerboard; leopard tree, headstock laminate; blackheart sassafras. oil finish.

    Beautiful I bet this sounds nice and loud, Wattle is a member of Acacia family same as blackwood excellent tonewood good choice.

    Thanks for your comments. It has a beautiful warm tone, lots of sustain and yes great volume, will try to add a video at some stage.
