Looking even better now you have got the seating bits on (not sure what to call them) Have you got a finish on it or have you still got to apply it. What finish will it be

That's on top job Mike, but next time you'll have to work faster on the poly drying quicker so that the snow doesn't.....Cheers, crowie

8 days ago it was 15 below zero. 6 days ago we had 7 inches of snow. Right now at 934 pm it's 56 degrees. Suppose to get 2.5 inches of rain by Sunday. The high temp on Monday,15 degrees. The flu here in America is rough, temps up and down.

Mike; send the rain and cooler weather this way please - 105 plus yesterday, low 90's today and then back up over 100 for 2 days...
We had 3" of rain in late October which was the first in the previous 4 months but none since......
You want Spring and we are waiting for Autumn [fall].......

Meant to comment earlier on the round holes on the chassis. Is that to lighten the sled and maintain maximum strength.

Might have to pinch your design and make a billy cart for the kids

The original plan I found had different shapes cut into the side. Which I like those, circles are easier to cut. As for lightening the load, I'm not sure it would do enough to notice. More for contrast and decoration than anything else. I'm more into finding a pic of something I like, and just kinda build whatever looks good to me

We have received another 4 inches of snow. I had thought it be a great time to try it out. Wrong. It's 10 below zero. Coming this weekend we are suppose to get another foot of snow with 20 below zero temperatures. I actually have had all I can take. This pic is from yesterday morning. Ice on the windows and snow on the road
