After realizing the cab height was off an 1/8 inch from one side to other I had to cut the original cab off

Looks like a great start until you spotted the discrepancy I know what it is like when you know it is there it will bug you, I have been known to smash a part to bits to prevent trying to modify the part instead forcing me to remake it correctly.
    Look forward to the build

Just as well the mistake was discovered early Fozzy!!

I worked for a tent and sail maker between completing high school and going to
Teachers' College. One of my first jobs was to mark out some expensive material
for a small boat awning. Miss-measured one side didn't I!? Luckily the boss was very
forgiving and the error was easily rectified.

Blimey one minute you are stripping it down to rebuild and the next you have not only replaced the offending part but also built the trailer. Great job have you any photo's side on.

I also notice a second tractor unit in the background of the second photo

The other truck is one I done a year or so back. I needed measurements. Lol. I generally do two things at once.
