Sidchrome Tools
Everyone says that the new off shore produced sidchrome products are not as good as the old Australian made products but has anyone had a Taiwan product fail or know of anyone who has had a breakage?

Don't know of any of the newer Sidchrome tools breaking. Do they still have the unconditional guarantee? when I was (much) younger, I took a front hub up to my motor mechanic mate to get the old bearing pressed out - he used a sidchrome socket as a drift in his 20 ton press. "No worries, if it breaks, they'll replace it, even if it wasn't used as it should be!" Now THAT'S a warranty.
Cheers,
Graeme

I bought the 1/2" extra long breaker bar the other day with the 2" fixed extension. Used it a couple of times on 25mm wheel studs.....seems OK.
