Default The side, as it should look...

I attached the shields on one side, to see how it looks. The oars are still not fastened, but here just for the pic. Continuing on the inside...

I don't know about "blue vikings", but, really: how big are you two?

    Default The next steps...

OK guys. Now it starts to look like a real ship... Th oars are in place, the shields are in place, the benches are in place, the mast is there... You'll have to wait for the head, of course... Maybe a dragon head would suit this?

Turning out very nicely! I followed your links to the horse build, incredible. My wife would love that just as a decoration in the house. The '36 Ford is great also. One I want to build when I get a little more experience under my belt. You do nice work.

    Default Dragon head

Just started on the dragon head. I've looked on the internet, but didn't find the right one so I drew one myself...I'm gonna do it just like a few other things, build it up in layers, a total of five. The first two are here glued together to fit over the front stick which I shortened a bit. Of course, when the five pieces are together I'll have to sand them so it will look like one piece... And when my wife finds the time, she'll make a sail... ;-)

    Default Sanding...

Sanding the head goes slow. But, to keep everybody happy, I made two pictures of the ship with the head temporarily attached. I'm still waiting for the sail...
