These turned out great. We need to see more pics of the car!

Nice work PLD. Love the lines of that Speedster.
I didn't realise how big it was until I saw that wheel assembly in the clamps.
Can we see a photo of the car when you wheel it up with something near it for scale.
10/10 for the spoke jig, well made.

Thank you for your comments. This is a pretty good sized model. The whole wheel is a little over 76.2 mm in diameter (I'm trying to talk in your measurements, so bear with me). The over all length is around 508mm. This is the plans I am working from:

Pretty simple plan, but this is only my second model build, so I need simple. I am adding a lot of parts and changing much. For example I do not like the big heavy windshield frame so mine will not be like that. I will post pictures when it is complete. Below is a picture with a ruler laying beside it. Sorry it is in inches. Nothing is glued together yet.

Gotta say I agree with you on the windscreen in the photo, it's very clunky if thats a word.
Don't worry about using feet & Inches here, a lot of us older members grew up with it, we only went metric in 1966 and still relate to it Ok.
Metric is sooo easy though in lots of ways.
Look forward to seeing the finished build.

    Thumbs up

Top work on both the completed Jig and the Auburn!!

There is something about those boat tail speedsters. A real touch of style that
went with the height of the Art Deco period.
