    Default New Ryobi Biscuit Joiner

Just bought one of these for $89 at Bunnings with a 2 year replacement warranty. It does the job perfectly. Much cheaper than it's GMC counterpart. I highly recommend it to those looking for a cheap biscuit joiner. Tried edge to edge, T-joint, frame joint etc. and was happy with it's accuracy. The new model is 900w instead of 800w

    Red face Model Number

Barri, would you mind giving me the Model number of your Ryobi as I wish to purchase a cheap biscuit joiner. I thought if you are having a good run with yours I might get one.

Mate, just head to Bunnings. There isn't an isle full of $89 Ryobi biscuit joiners

The 900 represents the watts. The old model is ebj800k i think.

I went to Bunnings Fountain Gate (melb) and bought their last one. I don't know which other bunnings stores have them. I'll try a few more experiments on the weekend and let you know but so far I am very pleased. I saw a makita at mitre 10 for over $500. I can't see its value, particularly when the ryobi has a two year replacement warranty. It would have to break down 6 times in 10 years to match makita's price.

It is ideal for the hack woodworker like me.

    Red face Thank you

Barri, thank you very much for the Model number. It is a pleasure to finally get a correct concise answer rather than other replies whose content is nothing but uncalled for derision and sarcasm.

Spent some time playing with this on the weekend. Tried most of the well known joints with the fence on and off. Accuracy is very good, dust collection OK and simple to use. A great value power tool!
