    Default Furniture Australian Standard Query

    DSCF0368_edited-1.jpgIMG00343.jpg

I am trying to determine the era of furniture made with this label?
"This article complies with the requirements of Australian Standard No S1"

The photo of the chest of drawers may give a clue, although I have seen it many times before.

It has to be between 1929 and 1988 as that is the time span of the company "Standards Association of Australia". Perhaps this site could help with your enquiry. http://www.furniturehistory.org.au/
