    Default CAT Truck

We are converting a Cat 777G to a maintenance truck so I have measured up an existing 777G and thought it would make a good toy truck so I have a set of drawings and some scrap timber and have started. Still a long way to go.

That was quick work Tom. One minute it was bare timber, and the next it was all painted.
    Top job, it looks great.

I must have missed the beginning of this build. Anyway you have made a great truck which I am sure someone is going to get plenty of enjoyment out of.

    Paint job is great

Great job! What did you use on the windows? Is it silver paint?

Thanks for the comments it was fun to make. It went to a very happy little lad that hasn't stoped playing with it since he got it. The paint was just black gloss spray for the wheels mustard gloss enamel for the body and silver spray for the windows

Yes, Tom, You've scored a triple win on this build....the enjoyment of the project, a first class finish and a little blokes smiles and love...VERY WELL DONE.
    Cheers, crowie

I really like this one. It's neat, simple but still has enough detail. I think I'm gonne steal this idea!
