rhino 10 speed info needed please

Hi to all ,new to this site so hope im in the write place,i have accquired a rhino 10 speed w/lathe,works ok but my problem is the drive belt,i understand the working of it ,for faster/slower the pully as such opens or closes to suite,my thing is there dosnt seem to be any tensetioner to take any slack out of belt so as soon as pully opens up belt just flops around,so need to find out the actuall belt size that should be there ,have done a search and come up with zilch,model # is 43mc950p,i cant even get it recognised,any help would be much appreciated thanks,peter.

It sounds like a mechanical variable speed as found on a number of different lathes. There is actually 2 pulleys. One adjusted by the lever to give you your different speeds and a second spring loaded pulley that gives you the speed change ratio and maintains tension on the belt. Id guess that the spring loaded pulley is stuck. Give it a good clean and get it moving freely again.
