GIS Sail Details
Hi everybody,
got a problem with the GIS sail plan. As southern Brazil is a white spot on the lug sail globe, no sailmaker here knows how to do them. Just the outlines, as shown
in the plans won´t do. Can anybody or maybe Master Mik himself provide a detailed sketch, including laying the cloth, broadseam measures and foot and head curve
radiuses. Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks, Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang,
Try posting in the "Michael Storer boat plans" group instead or even better in the GIS Facebook group if you want someone to answer your GIS related questions. My suggestion is to buy the RSS (Really Simple Sails" GIS sail. Probably cheaper than what you can get locally and it will work. Duckworks in the US sells and ships worldwide. Sailrite (also in the US) have kits for nice sails if you want to make our own.
