    Default Duck Flat plans purchase

    Hi all,

I've been looking at plans to buy from Duck Flat but the website appears to be gone. Does any one know what has happened to it? And now how to purchase plans?

    Cheers,
    Ben

Yes seems to have disappeared. Have you tried Stray Dog Boat Works http://www.straydogboatworks.com/. They have lots of plans & kits including Oughtred designs (my favourite).

    Ben,

AFAIK Duck Flats was originally owned by Rob Ayliffe, who now has the website for Stray Dog Boatworks list of plans.

I have met Rob at various venues & purchased plans from him. He is quite helpful and is the main source in Australia for Iain Oughtred plans. If you are interested in Oughtred's lapstrake small boats his plans are the best available. There is also a Yahoo Groups website for owners / builders of Oughtred boats. Rob is a keen advocate for NIS boats too.

    Cheers,

    David

No that is not a temporary outage, that is not Duckflat's website. The domain name duckflatwoodenboats.com has expired.
