Default Melbourne T&WWW Show - FORUM STAND 2014

Well, it is approaching the time of the year again for the original, biggest and best show - Melbourne!

This year is the 26th Anniversary of the Working With Wood Show* in Melbourne.
    * Original name. Changed a year later to Timber & Working With Wood Show

Once again, we are looking for people who would like to help man the Forum Stand and assist.

Greg (Groggy) is organising the stand again this year and has put up a Volunteers Roster CLICK HERE which will be updated regularly. Get in early and get the shift of your choice and, of course, free entry to the show!

Ideally, we would like two hour blocks to be filled as it makes scheduling easier. Typically, you turn up at a pre-arranged time or call on arrival, someone will then come out with your ticket. A phone number will be provided to volunteers before the event.

Over previous years most volunteers have found it a good way to catch their breath and meet a bunch of other forumites. Members will often attend the stand on a few days and really take the time to see the show and all the displays and demonstrations; this is the best way to do it.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

Nice one Fly. Only problem is, we have to wait until Groggy sets up the "Schedule for Shifts" thread.

That said, I would like to join you for the first shift on the Friday as well.

I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

We seem to have a serious case of premature volunteering

I've got the link up, thanks for starting without me!

Chesand, Issatree and Simplicity - any particular days? Better hurry, the 'regulars' will be jumping in soon

Ha. Maybe I'll get in early for a change and have a Friday time rather than a Sunday time. 12 till 2 if you need someone for 2 hours. One hour if you get heaps of people.. Can't really go later as I have to pick up the kid.

    Greg

I plan to be there first thing on the Friday so you can slot me in for any shift that finishes at or before 3pm.

I will most probably go again on the Sat or Sun but at the moment not sure which so will let you know later.
