One for Geoff
I realised I had a big plastic keg ... filled not only with weeds, but ... also a lot of rain.
It made sense to add a drain-hole.
What I didn't expect was how well it showed the knife-like action of the sharp wing and the cutting action of the bit proper.
This soft plastic material would be great to demonstrate a bit and brace to school kids eg.
Maybe you've thought about this long before I did?
Cheers,
Paul

Well Paul what can I say? You've been and ruined a good drum by irresponsibly boring a hole in it. Now you might get school kids to show some interest in it, being as PLASTIC is involved, but wouldn't it be more appropriate to make nice shaving out of WOOD?
Bung borer 001.jpgEven more appropriate would be to use the bung borer in your brace to bore the hole and drive a spigot in and then you could let the water out at any time convenient to your busy schedule.
I appreciate your youthful exuberance, but you've really got to think these things through Paul.
Cheers,
Geoff.
