Availability of Cypress Pine Logs - NSW?
Evening Gents, Millers and Loggers.
I'm in the market to buy a reasonable quantity (around 20-30) of Cypress logs. Preferred size of 250mm-300mm or bigger and length of around 4.8m. Seasoned or unseasoned - doesn't matter. The intended destination is Gosford NSW, so the closer the better.
Any suggestions?

A lot of cypress posts go up to Lightning Ridge for use as mine props. I believe they come from the Pilliga forest. You mught try looking in that direction.

Those around Lightning Ridge are part of the largest native stand of Cypress. Not sure about the milling, try here http://www.gunnedahtimbers.com.au/02...ress_open.html, but you may be better off looking for the cypress plantations
