Man dual rear wheels that's some serious traction you've got going there!
May have to put a wheelie bar on that one

    Honestly love this stuff Crowie.
Granddad and the kids in the shed "as good as it gets"
    Enjoy every minute of it!

    Cheers

Looked after our 21/2 year old Josh yesterday. He is a treat. Out in the shed making up a Ford Logo for a stand I am going to sit my old T Model ute model on. Have made Josh a Ford fanatic, much to the displeasure of his mum and dad (Mitsubishi and Suzuki drivers) Josh will always love Fords. Life is great with grandkids.

Default Return to pa's shed again - Mark 3 upgrade.....

Return to pa's shed again - Mark 3 upgrade.....

This time the dragster was dropped with the resultant front wing broken off plus one of the fins on the rear wing ......

The front wing has been moved back with now 5.5mm dowels and a new fin while the fin on the rear wing has been replaced ......

I've done the undercoat and first re-coat of paint.....LET'S HOPE THIS DRAGSTER RUNS FOR MORE THAN A FEW DAYS, this time ..........

Glad it's a wooden toy or by now it'd be heading for the bin.....

MORAL OF THE STORY - Next time I'll have to build even more strength into the vulnerable parts...

    Cheers, crowie

Your woodworking skills are great - just need to update the engineering specs.

You're going to have to get the young fellow to ease up on the throttle.
Looks like his hitting 000 lights.
But costing a ton in parts!

Now I'm fully embarrassed as I did a Naval Artificer-ship at HMAS Nirimba in the early 1970's with a Sydney Institute Of Technology certificate as a Fitter & Machinist, General Engineer...I normally get into trouble for over engineering things....failed again..........

    Hey Crowie,

You can bet on the number of Blue ovals.

    Josh loves them.

I think being a Fitter & Turner you should be going for steel struts. You won't have to come back to those parts then at least.
