My billycart version of Ed Roth's Outlaw drives on the right hand side.
A lot of kids have run it down hill, but not one has ever said a word about the steering wheel being on the wrong side.
Kids are funny like that it doesn't matter where you position them, on the left or right hand side.
They always drive as if its centre steer and place themselves in the middle of the road.
Cheers
Trev.

Dear Crowie,
Thanks for your comment, I use scraps of wood that I find near a factory that produces buidings doors, typically maple pieces of 40-millimeter width and thickness 8 millimeters, I do not good with finish.... so leaves it natural .... I cut the shapes with 13" bandsaw and some time with very old scrollsaw.
I Will find some more pics and post here soon. thanks again
Srulik
