    Default what size framing pine

    Hi guys
Probably a pretty simple question.. I am about to build a false chimney to put my heater in.. Heater has a zero clearance so it can but right up to the wood frame.
The frame will be 650/1080/650 and plastered.
What size framing pine can I use? I was just thinking of 70/35 or should I use 90/35, it will only be internal and will connect to an existing wall.
    Thx.

If its only supporting a bit of plaster, I agree with 70x35

I did one of those a few years ago for a gas fire. For the slight extra cost I would go the 90x35 and also the heavier 13mm plasterboard. Not for strength but it is less likley to warp out of shape in the future.
