Thanks for making that video - I've had a few issues with remounting bowls concentrically, reckon they are sorted with your tip about using only your thumb to hold the bowl in place while tightening the jaws !

Hi Brendan,
Many thanks for all your informative videos, great work.

Re "Make sure the bowl is seated correctly in the jaws, clean out any chips etc from jaws."

To help this I always tighten the jaws so they just grip the bowl.
Then back off a tad, hold the chuck & turn the bowl forwards & backwards a couple of times.
This removes any chips & snags etc & ensures the bowl is seated correctly.
Finish up by tightening the jaws as usual.
This works for me.

Just a small matter - I find that if you make sure there is no dust etc when you are fixing the jaws
to the chuck and you only tighten firmly, close the jaws and then fully tighten you get
a better result. It is very easy to get dust between the jaws and the chuck. To then tighten
with the jaws fully open will mean the jaws are out of balance. Hence do not fully tighten
until closed and in sinc. It is also a check to ensure you have the jaws sitting properly on the under rail.
