Default Triton 2000 Workcentre setup help needed..Melbourne

Just wondering if theres anyone in the inner city Melbourne area who has used a triton series 2000 workcentre extensively?
I am new to them & am having an extremely boring time setting up the height winder kit, the planer attachment & making it work!

I just want to start cutting & these instructions are painful so my idea is someone whose done it before comes round & helps me set it up in return for $ beer & a chat.

I also have the latest router table to so any tips on best practise for that would be helpful..

Please PM me if you are in the carlton area (3053) or are willing to come here for enough time to help me set it up.. I reckon im 2/3 the way there..
    cheers

You may have luck trying one of the triton owners clubs.
They used to popular a few years back.
I'm not sure if they still are.
    But Google may help

    I had a Mk3 Triton for many years (25?) and a Series 2000 for a couple.

Properly set up and fettled, they are capable of remarkable capacity, accuracy & reliability: at least equal to or better than the Radial Arm Saw & Sliding Compound Saws I now use. Probably not of a table saw, but as I don't have one I don't really know.

But they really need to be properly fine-tuned. There's a video/DVD available that will greatly enhance your fine tuning process.

As you are new to the saw, I highly recommend you get one. Ebay would be an appropriate place to look.

The original Triton instruction video has been uploaded to YouTube...it is brilliant in its retro glory!
