Small CNC task in Canberra
Any cnc users in Canberra? I'm trying to make up a small plaque for a project I'm working on. I want to write a short message, total size wouldn't be more than 150x150. I can supply the timber (plain 19mm tassie oak). Just looking for someone who has the gear and is happy to help out.
Happy to throw some $$ your way, or beer, or swap for some other woodwork assistance I may be able to offer.
Otherwise, recommendations for a commercial place would be good too.

Project
Hello Trav,
No response locally yet?
Is the project just engraving fonts?
I am in Tasmania and would be willing to machine the job for you at no cost; you pay postage.
Cheers,
Kym

I'd offer to do it, but I haven't done enough engraving on my machine to be confident of the results, nor absolutely sure of not having an error that might ruin the piece.

Happy to help
I am in Rosehill, Sydney and will be happy to help you out if nothing else closer comes up.
i have a ton of scrap lying around so we can do a test cut before we put the actual piece in there also.
