    Red face heart boxs

here are two more box's I made , which I used shellac on , my results with shellac were poor , the box's were cleaned and resanded a few times too many to try and get the finish right and almost went in the bin, I ended up finishing them with Scandinavian oil and gave them to my grand daughters who loved them, glad I didn't throw them !!

    Good stuff!

I'm guessing that you laminated ply into the stock for the bodies of the box to give you that line around the outside? (I'd be majorly impressed if it was stringing, but I'd also be disappointed that you didn't use a more contrasting timber! )
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
