Qld Maple Bowl
Its been a while since I have had time to get into the shed. One of my friends just had his 1st son and I wanted to make him something special. The grain in this one came up way better than I was expecting from the blank which looked rather bland. Sanded to 600grit and finished with EEE-Ultra Shine and Shellawax. My technique is getting better, not so many tool marks to sand out in this one

Beautiful timber well turned!!
I would like to see that with a lid. It would make a great biscuit "tin".
