Not Exactly the Shed
...But related I suppose.
I have an area 6mX3m under the deck and with plenty of headroom. I decided to out a floor here so SWMBO could do her Pottery/ceramics and we could also place the pool table there as well.
I already have a couple of square metres of good quality tongue and groove so I thought a timber floor would be the go. I've worked out the cost of bearers, joists - all second hand - and extra sheeting @ $512. Then there is the cost of screws and the paid labour to help sort the thing out.
All up probably somewhere around $900.
2 cubic meters of concrete is $430. I t will cost about $350 for the concretor and there is the reo. All up about the same as the timber and a lot less effort!!
The concrete will cause less problems water wise so guess what I will eventually do.

Concrete for the sub floor, then timber for the floor - for comfort.
