Well you convinced me Graeme, and I printed off the exchange and put it in with a letter and it's well on its way to Tenterfield (not Toowoomba, Tamworth or Tassie) by now.

Thanks Geoff for the thread. I love these what is this type questions, not that that I ever get them .
Although the consensus is that they are definitely a hairdressers tool could I ask if they are for "straightening" hair or "curling" hair? Also, are they for use on a live human or perhaps a wig?

Paul,
I'm guessing it could be used on any hair, alive or wigged. For straightening curly or curling straight. Totally useless for encouraging growth on a bald dome though I would think.
