Turned Box
While waiting for some wood for my next project I thought I would get a little turning in so I produced this little box from an unknown piece of wood. It is finished with danish oil then buffed the three lines are there to disguise the joint between the lid and bottom, the lid has some texturing which is stained then gold wax is applied to highlight the texturing

Good design feature to disguise the lid from the main body. Very simple and quite effective.

A nice little box, Derek.
Those burnt lines really hide the lid joint well.... Steve
