Hi all,
Finished the locomotive leaf springs. The 4 on the drive wheels have differing connection configuration to the springs on the trailing wheels. Now onto the main locomotive chasis as was suggested by Derek.
Regards
Keith

Hi All,
Started work on the chasis today. Decided to make it out of MDF. The slots are where the wheel bearings can slide in conjunction with the leaf springs and there is also a compression spring at the top of the wheel bearing/s. Doesn't look too much at the moment. Thought I would show where the leaf springs will be located in relation to the chasis There are springs behind the trailing wheel slots. The can of VB gives some indication of size of the locomotive. It will be a bit longer than the Trevithick locomotive I built.
Regards
Keith
