Air tool motor vanes
My air grinder/sander needs some new motor vanes. I bought the tool second hand and it does not have an embossed brand or sticker to indicate the manufacturer. All the tool repair shops I've visited so far want to know the make so they can order the vanes for me. As I cannot furnish this information I was considering making some vanes myself.
I was wondering what material is used to make these vanes. It looks and feels like bakelite or the material from which circuit boards are made. I could probably grind or sand the material to shape if I could get my hands on some.
Does anybody know what the material is and where I could get some?
