    Default Dollhouse furniture

I’m looking for a way to have some quite small blocks of12mm MDF (or ply) cut (commercially), which I want to use as components for constructing dollhouse furniture. The smallest pieces are 30 X 10 (x12mm). I have tried having these pieces laser cut but end up with edges that are not quite perpendicular, i.e., the pieces end up being 31 X 11 on the bottom face.

I'd want to get just one set cut for a start but would then ultimately want to scale-up significantly.

Any suggestions of companies that I might approach (in Melbourne) for either CNC routing, or some other method of achieving my aim?

I'm not sure you should be looking at using MDF -- it's a real pain to paint successfully, especially for small pieces.
perhaps you need to be looking at finger jointed pine or hardwood mouldings
porta moldings -- http://www.porta.com.au/profile-matr...uilding&dc=dar -- do hardwood and pine strips in some of the dimensions you mentioned.

How much cutting are you prepared to do yourself?
what is the size range you are looking to end up with?
    regards from Alberta, Canada

I actually met someone at the melbourne wood show who was after pear wood. Apparently this is very good for doll furniture.

Here is one to start with Cut It Out. MDF is one of the materials they work on.
And another one is Kaiser Joinery in Geelong
