First turning in 45 years
I bought a second hand mini lathe from this forum a few weeks back. Eventually got to fire it up on the weekend for my first attempt at turning for 45 years. Cheap pine laminated together.

Looks fantastic. Looks like you didn't forget how. What's next some cars and maybe a caboose?

Not to rusty for 45 years off the bike.
Great train you'd have to be happy with it!
Look forward to seeing more of your work.
Cheers mate

Great little train. Having a lathe adds a whole new dimension to toymaking.
