obtaining certificate of safety (gas)
I took possession of a place which was mostly finished but no (reticulated) gas connected. To get it connected, the company (Elgas) have demanded a certificate of safety for the gas system.
It's currently running off bottles.
I looked through the contract of sale and it's not copied into that. Any idea where I would get it? I know contacting the builder/plumber is an obvious avenue but part of the reason for the place being unfinished was their experiencing financial difficulties and they're not so easy to deal with / ask for favours from. Can anyone suggest other avenues?
