10" planer/thickener no drive ?
Have an old and outdated planer/thickener with shredded feed gears- otherwise OK. Have a better unit that has replaced it. Had an Idea about possible uses-Thinking??? copy shapper? - 3-6 layers-say chair legs-etc.from a template with the unit flipped 90 degrees with a bit more bite than in -say planing mode- but a ring that matches the blade tips on the bottom of the shaft-say 3 mm -templates could be MDF cover sheets or Masonite if a longer run. Sounds likely & some form of guards would be advisable. Any thoughts????????
