    Default Skelton Saws

Seem that there is a newly started(?) traditional saw maker in Yorkshire. A dovetail saw ended up with a Popular Woodwork writer.
I found out about this in a Popular Woodworking email

Not cheap at £245 but then a Bad Axe can set you back around $US360

Thought some of you might be interested

Nick, you must've been too busy thinking what Santa was about to bring you, Stewie brought our attention to these a month ago, and a little discussion followed....

    Cheers,

I had a look and couldn't see it so went ahead and posted, knew someone would advise if seen before
I'll just wander back into my corner knowing, once again, that nothing gets past you chaps!

It's ok, Nick, it's my job to keep an eye on the bill of fare, and you're far from the first to miss something - the search engine on this forum sometimes does funny things. I've had real trouble finding some of my own old posts, occasionally, despite what I thought were adequate key words!

It's better to have an extra heads-up than miss something interesting, and anyway, it seems there has been some more activity & more information about these saws since Stewie first posted, so a recall of the topic is probably timely. Don't sulk for too long, we might miss you.....

    Cheers,
    IW
