Table lamps
Smashing out the projects today,
pair of table lamps out of fence posts from out near the wheat belt n.s.w.
Possibly false sandalwood? 95mm dis 340 high sanded to 400.
they have had 2 coats of shellac
Comments good or bad welcome
anyway thanks for looking.

love the weathered timber look.
what type of shade would you put on something like that? Or do you just put a globe in and away you go?

I don't normally supply the shades.
where I buy the fittings from they recommend not to exceed two thirds the size of the base / largest diameter of the lamp.
I think with getting a shade it is worth the price of the light shop shades as it really compliment the base

I think your table lamps are awesome, well done
they will look even better when the shades are put on!
BUT?...........your photos sucks!!!!,,,,,,, you have made a
box to photograph your work and then the photos show
outside the box

I really like the proportions of the vasiform - a shape that appears in a lot of traditional and aust colonial work.
