2M542 Driver
Hi there, is there anyone out there using the 2M542 drives in their cnc machines, If you have had problem with it loosing steps and not changing direction.. or just acting erratically, I would like to hear from you regarding the cause or problem, I have been running these drivers for about two years now and have had no problems with them until about a week ago, at the moment it is only the Y axis that's doing it, I have swapped motors around and they are fine, could it be a stray signal problem somewhere or something like that?

Broken wire in the cable chain ,will cause random y axis movements
how come a 10mm peg dont fit in a 10mm hole

Thanks for the advice Sawdustsniffer, I have tested everything but the cable connections, will try them tomorrow.
