Hercus Model A Gear

Does anyone have a spare 100 tooth compound gear for Hercus Model A?
I have a 127 tooth gear but the 100 is missing, as is the bush and keyway.

Or, would anyone like to purchase the 127 gear so that I can fund the purchase a 60-63 set up + 30 tooth and 42 tooth gears.

How much do you want for the 127 tooth gear ? Might get some healthy offers if you put it up in the auction area here or on ebay.

or alternately have a look at this website and cut your own 100 tooth gear

That website written by another forum member, I think its pretty good.

Another good ratio is 47/37 = 1.27027027027etc. the difference is quite small and the total teeth you have to cut is less than 100.

I've had a quick look at the excellent site you noted - I'll give some serious thought to making a 100 tooth gear!!
